- Maintain a high level of expertise in all areas of Customs regulations, including customs clearance processes, classification and valuation
- Monitor and analyze changes in U.S. and global tariffs, including Section 301/232 and retaliatory tariffs, and assess operational and cost implications
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate trade compliance risks across sourcing, product development, and supply chain teams
- HTS Code analysis, utilize trade compliance software and automated tools for screening, classification, and recordkeeping; maintain accurate data in ERP and / or other similar systems
- Issue Certificate of origin and/or United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) certificates as necessary
- Import & export documentation and reporting
- Duty spend verification, reporting and analysis in support of global footprint analysis and strategy
- Develop and maintain trade compliance process documentation including manual creation
- Actively improve knowledge of U.S. Customs Regulations; including, but not limited to webinars, seminars, and classes offered by Customs Brokers and the Customs Agencies
- Support of customer requests related to Trade Compliance and/or customs activities
- Work Experience: 2 years of experience in in trade compliance, customs or related field
- Education: Associates in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business or related field
- Computer Skills: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with ERP systems
- Technical Skills: Strong Proficiency in HTS/HS classification and Customs regulations
