We are partnering with a leading alternative investment and financial technology platform seeking a Vice President, Private Markets Strategist to join its Investment Strategy team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a private markets investment professional who combines rigorous research capabilities with the ability to communicate complex investment themes to financial advisors, wealth management clients, and distribution teams.
The individual will help shape the firm’s private markets perspectives across:
• Private equity and venture capital
• Private credit
• Infrastructure and real estate
• Secondaries and other alternative strategies
• Portfolio construction and private market allocation
• Industry trends, fund flows, and investor adoption
The role will involve developing differentiated investment viewpoints and translating research into market commentaries, white papers, presentations, advisor education, webinars, conferences, and strategic client conversations. This person will work closely with Investment Strategy, Distribution, Product, Due Diligence, Research, and Client Solutions teams.
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
• 8 years of experience in private markets, alternative investments, investment strategy, research, or a related investment function
• Broad knowledge across multiple private market asset classes
• Experience producing high-quality investment research and thought leadership
• The ability to turn complex data and investment themes into clear, actionable messaging
• Strong presentation skills and experience engaging with advisors, wealth managers, institutional investors, or distribution professionals
• Familiarity with platforms such as PitchBook, Preqin, Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar research tools
This is not a traditional investment underwriting or product sales position. It sits at the intersection of private markets research, portfolio strategy, advisor education, and commercial engagement.
Salary : $160,000 - $200,000
