Position Summary
Kemp Management Solutions is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead the execution of the company’s go-to-market activation plan. This is a hands-on role responsible for translating marketing strategy into coordinated execution across internal initiatives and external campaigns.
The ideal candidate has experience managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously, overseeing agency and vendor relationships, and ensuring disciplined execution of marketing plans from concept through delivery.
This role reports directly to the CEO and partners closely with senior leadership and external vendors to strengthen KMS’s brand presence, support business development efforts, and enhance client engagement. Initially, the role will operate in a recommendation-based capacity, with increased decision-making authority expected as trust and performance are established.
Key Responsibilities
Agency, Vendor & Campaign Management
· Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for all vendor partners, managing deliverables, timelines, approvals, and communication
· Coordinate additional external vendors as needed to support execution across workstreams
· Consolidate recommendations and present them to the CEO for review and approval prior to final decisions
· Oversee execution of trade media campaigns, including asset approvals, media partner coordination, deployment, and performance reporting
Conference & Event Marketing
· Own strategy and execution for KMS conference participation, including pre- and post-event planning
· Lead audience segmentation, follow-up strategy, and conference geofencing campaigns
· Ensure every conference results in a structured lead capture and nurture plan
· Support planning and execution of community and client-facing events, including sponsorships, civic engagement, and co-hosted partner events
Digital & Paid Media Execution
· Oversee upper-funnel programmatic campaigns, LinkedIn Lead Gen campaigns, and conference retargeting efforts
· Partner with vendors to ensure campaigns target the right audiences and align with KMS business development goals
Content & Thought Leadership
· Lead development of thought leadership content including POV articles, whitepapers, case studies, and executive bylines
· Coordinate internal subject matter expert sessions with leadership involvement
· Manage content production with vendor partners and oversee distribution across owned channels, trade media, and conferences
Brand, Website, & Social Media Management
· Own the refresh and maintenance of KMS brand assets, including collateral, pitch decks, sales materials, and presentation templates
· Conduct brand asset audits and coordinate updates aligned with KMS positioning and messaging
· Manage KMS social media strategy with a focus on LinkedIn, including content pillars and editorial calendar
· Oversee website content to ensure messaging, imagery, and value proposition remain current and aligned with brand standards
Customer & Community Engagement
· Own execution of customer engagement programs, including client newsletters, onboarding experiences, appreciation events, quarterly check-ins, and milestone recognition
· Strengthen client relationships and identify opportunities for expansion and advocacy
· Support community engagement initiatives including day of service, charity sponsorships, and civic participation efforts
Employee Engagement & Internal Brand
· Partner with leadership and HR to develop and amplify internal brand, employee recognition, and engagement initiatives through effective communications, content, and promotional support.
· Support internal communication channels and storytelling efforts
· Help ensure team members are connected to KMS mission, values, and growth story
Qualifications/SkillsRequired
· Minimum of 5 years of B2B marketing experience with a demonstrated track record in campaign execution and project management
· Experience managing agency relationships and holding external partners accountable to deliverables and timelines
· Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous workstreams while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
· Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
· Familiarity with digital marketing channels including LinkedIn, programmatic advertising, and organic social
· Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
· Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
Preferred
· Experience marketing within a consulting, professional services, or B2B services organization
· Familiarity with trade media partnerships and sponsored content programs
· Experience coordinating thought leadership content development with internal subject matter experts
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

Schedule and Work Environment
· Birmingham, AL (HQ) based with occasional travel to Charlotte, NC office and client sites
· Monday–Friday flex schedule, requiring three in-office days each week — with Tuesdays and Thursdays as mandatory onsite days, and one additional day of the team member’s choosing.
· Must be able to work in an office environment; some walking or lifting (up to 25 lbs.) may be required for event or meeting support.
Pay: From $100,000.00 per year
