Data Center Fiber Project Coordinator

Work location: Hybrid - Abilene, TX

Overview

As a Fiber Project Coordinator at KMM, you will manage fiber-related inventory—including fiber consumables, connectors, and test gear—and verify OTDR, power meter, and loss budget reports for accuracy. You’ll maintain daily logs, coordinate shipments, and ensure all fiber optic documentation meets project and customer standards.  

KMM is hiring a DC Fiber Project Coordinator to support field operations through inventory control, documentation management, and quality assurance. This role plays a key part in closing out fiber optic projects by ensuring all consumables, test results, and reports are accurately tracked and delivered for billing and client review. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of fiber consumables, connectors, and test gear
• Verify and archive OTDR, power meter, and loss budget reports
• Create daily productivity logs and project dashboards
• Coordinate shipments and field materials

Qualifications

• 3 years in telecom, logistics, or field operations support
• Proficient in Excel, SharePoint, and OTDR report formats
• Strong attention to detail and documentation standards
• Familiarity with Viavi test data formats preferred
