- The go-to pro for setting up Mitsubishi wire EDM or Makino sinker EDM on complex work
- Fluent in reading blueprints, routers, and setup sheets
- Comfortable editing NC code to elevate quality and reduce cycle time
- Confident self-inspector who verifies to exact standards
- Natural problem-solver who improves tooling, fixturing, and process flow
- Planner who loves maximizing lights-out productivity
- Set up and operate wire and/or RAM EDM equipment on intricate, tight-tolerance components
- Translate engineering intent from prints and documentation into efficient machine setups
- Tune control parameters and NC code for performance and consistency
- Execute in-process and final inspections to ensure conformance
- Diagnose setup issues; propose and implement better methods and fixtures
- Prepare machines, tooling, and programs for reliable unattended operation
- 5 years of wire and/or sinker EDM experience in precision manufacturing
- Hands-on knowledge of Mitsubishi, Makino, or similar EDM controls and coding
- High school diploma required; vocational training or apprenticeship preferred
- Detail-driven inspector with a passion for first-pass yield and continuous improvement
