Swiss Programmer – Precision That Matters

At KMM Group, Ltd., we craft mission-critical components that fuel life-saving medical devices and cutting-edge aerospace systems. We are seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machining Programmer to join our team. This role is responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs for complex Swiss machined parts in metals and plastics. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in CAM programming, multiaxis milling, and micromachining strategies, with a strong commitment to precision and efficiency.
What You’ll Do:
Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC Swiss programs (9–12 axis machinery).
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements to create accurate toolpaths.
Select and design cutting tools, collets, grippers, and inspection fixtures.
Collaborate with machinists and setup teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Support high-volume and lights-out machining with effective tool life and coolant management.
Write inspection plans, setup sheets, and work instructions.
Troubleshoot and improve machining processes.
Lead and mentor team members on advanced machining techniques.
✅ What You Bring:
Minimum 5 years’ experience setting up and running CNC Swiss machinery (Citizen preferred; Star or Tornos accepted).
Minimum 5 years’ experience programming using CAM systems (Esprit, Partmaker, SolidCAM, Mastercam, or equivalent).
Proven expertise in multiaxis milling and micromachining of complex parts (3D surfaces, thin-walled structures, angular features).
Strong knowledge of G-code programming.
Experience with a wide variety of materials, including titanium, stainless steel, aluminum, Inconel, and plastics.
High school diploma required; advanced technical training preferred.
Experience with unattended, high-volume, lights-out machining environments.
