Employment Opportunity: Drywall Project Manager (Nyack, NY)
A well-established and growing construction subcontractor based in the NYC area, seeking an experienced Drywall Project Manager to join our team. This role may be full-time and will be based out of our main office in Nyack, or satellite office in Midtown Manhattan.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Oversee schedules, budgets, and quality control to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field staff.
- Serve as the main point of contact between clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
- Prepare and review project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Identify and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and best practices.
- Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fields are preferred but not necessary.
