We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end close activities, and supporting multiple business entities. Key Responsibilities
• Record daily financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
• Process accounts payable and assist with accounts receivable as needed.
• Review and enter invoices, expense reports, and journal entries.
• Maintain vendor and customer records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare financial reports and account reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with payroll and other accounting projects as assigned.
• Support the Controller and accounting team with day-to-day accounting operations.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2–4 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and pivot tables.
• Experience reconciling multiple bank and credit card accounts.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience working with multiple companies or entities.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, hospitality, or service industries is a plus.
• Experience with document management systems and cloud-based accounting software.
