The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving inventory accuracy and efficiency within the organization. This role supports supply chain operations by ensuring proper tracking of materials, maintaining system data integrity, reconciling discrepancies, and identifying trends to optimize inventory management. The Inventory Control Analyst collaborates with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to maintain accurate records, support demand planning, and implement process improvements that drive operational excellence.

  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, transactions, and variances to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
  • Reconcile physical counts with system data through cycle counts and audits.
  • Maintain item master data, part numbers, and inventory-related system updates.
  • Partner with all departments to resolve inventory issues. Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency. Assist with coordination and oversight of the annual physical inventory planning and execution.
  • Support ERP system utilization and enhancements related to inventory control.
  • Perform true-up activities, including scheduling, verifying inbound/outbound entries, compiling adjustments, and reconciling variances.
  • Create and complete ASN’s and RTS’s for outbound shipments.
  • Work with warehouse to ensure prompt provision of inventory documentation to customers.
  • Conduct visual inspections and counts of inventory as needed.
  • Execute CHEP pallet reconciliations according to specified cadences.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Bill of material setup and correction.
  • Drive continuous improvement by working with cross-functional partners to identify opportunities and implement best practices/routines.  Cost control and correction.
  • Develop relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Continuously learn and develop knowledge of warehouse and logistics processes.
  • Develop and generate inventory-related reports and KPIs for management.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Finance, or related field required.
  • 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or related field.
  • Experience with cycle counting, root cause analysis, and ERP systems required.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer software required to support this position, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have good math skills and be able to correctly complete math conversions.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail to ensure correctness of lot numbers and related data entry.
  • Ability to work effectively on a team and have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly organized and self-motivated, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to touch, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear.  Sit 50%, Walk 40%, Stand 10%, bend at waist frequently, repetitive use of hands for fine manipulation; climb stairs occasionally.
  • Prolonged periods working on a computer.  Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds during inventory counts.  Exposure to both office and warehouse environments.
  • Ability to work extended hours during physical inventories or peak demand periods.
