1st Shift Crumble Packager

Examples of duties involved in this type of position include preparing

supplies and labels; completing required paperwork accurately; taking

cheese from totes and placing onto conveyors; operating packaging

equipment to fill bags or containers with crumbled product; verifying

product codes and materials for accuracy; checking containers for proper

seals; attaching labels to products; putting products onto pallets;

stacking pallets; and cleaning and sanitizing equipment, conveyors and

packaging areas. Shift: 1st shift: 6:00am-3:00pm or done (typically 8-9

hour shift), Monday Friday, plus every other Saturday 5:00am-done. Pay

Rate: \$19.00 per hour, will pay more for experienced workers! Examine

and inspect containers, materials, or products to ensure that product

quality and packing specifications are met. Measure, weigh, and count

products and materials. Load materials and products into package

processing equipment. Place or pour products or materials into

containers, using hand tools and equipment, or fill containers from

spouts or chutes. Remove completed or defective products or materials,

placing them on moving equipment, such as conveyors, or in specified

areas, such as loading docks. Clean containers, materials, supplies, or

work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools. Mark and label

containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools. Obtain,

move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand

tools. Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers, using

hand tools. Seal containers or materials, using glues, fasteners, nails,

and hand tools. Record product, packaging, and order information on

specified forms and records. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND

QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements: Cheese/food industry experience is

preferred but not required. Must be willing to work overtime as needed.

A good attendance record is required. Candidate must be a team player.

Employees are required to stand the duration of the shift, with frequent

and repetitive bending, stooping, turning, reaching, grasping and
