Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Stand Up Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The hours are 8:00AM-5:30PM.
Duties
- Safely operate stand-up forklifts, reach trucks and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining inventory accuracy
- Conduct routine equipment inspections, perform minor repairs or report mechanical issues promptly to maintenance teams
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials for storage or shipment in compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Assist in warehouse management tasks including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse setting
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, stacking pallets, and materials handling with safety awareness
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and warehouse safety practices
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments or inventory data
- Previous experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, or warehouse distribution is highly desirable
- Valid forklift certification preferred; ongoing training provided for qualified candidates
