Title: Human Resource Coordinator
Reports to: HR Manager
Full-Time: 40 per week, in-person M-TH (Friday is remote)

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The HR Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Human Resources team by ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, maintaining employee records, and providing administrative and organizational support across all HR functions. This role acts as a key point of contact for employees and candidates, ensuring a positive experience while upholding compliance and HR best practices.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team.
- Assist with the internal Blue Carpet Experience for new employees, including conducting 30-, 60-, and 90-day surveys. Maintaining ownership of data collected and analytics.
- Manage BaseCamp communications for all gyms, ensuring recognition of employee milestones.
- Support the HR team with the implementation and maintenance of new and existing HRIS systems.
- Assist with case management for employee leaves, unemployment claims, and workers’ compensation, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
- Manage the HR inbox, responding to standard employee inquiries and requests.
- Conduct audits within the HRIS and timekeeping systems, ensuring data accuracy and communicating findings with management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR, administrative, or employee-support role preferred.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and timekeeping platforms (ADP, Workday, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general office technology.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with a strong commitment to providing a positive employee experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR, administrative, or employee-support role preferred.
- Experience with Data Analytics or advanced Excel Proficiency a plus.
