POSITION OVERVIEW:

Burn Boot Camp is looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Junior or Senior college student to join our Digital Product & Technology team as a Digital Developer Intern. Based onsite at our Charlotte Metro HQ, this paid internship puts you in the driver’s seat—giving you hands-on experience building, testing, and improving the web and app experiences that power our national fitness brand.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain web pages, blogs, and content using Builder.io and Next.js for Burn Boot Camp and related brand sites.
- Assist in developing reusable components and layouts aligned with brand and performance standards.
- Test all Burn Boot Camp websites, location pages, and digital experiences for functionality, accuracy, performance, and usability.
- Support testing and validation of Burn Boot Camp mobile app features, including new and beta releases.
- Document requirements, workflows, test cases, bugs, and resolutions with clear, thorough documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues across web and app experiences, escalating and collaborating with team members as needed.
- Compile and synthesize feedback from focus groups and beta testers into clear, actionable outputs.
- Validate content accuracy, SEO basics, and responsiveness across devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality digital releases.
- Stay current on modern web development tools, best practices, and emerging trends.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Media, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, React, and modern web frameworks; experience with Next.js is a strong plus.
- Experience or interest in headless CMS platforms such as Builder.io or similar tools.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on testing, documentation, and quality assurance.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues logically and communicate findings clearly.
- Comfortable working with feedback from users, focus groups, and testers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
