Klickitat Valley Health is a rural, critical-access hospital (trauma level 4) located in scenic Goldendale, Washington only two hours from Portland along the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge. KVH offers emergency and acute inpatient care and a full scope of ancillary services including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Wound Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, PT / OT, Behavioral Health, Dental, Optometry, Retail Pharmacy and Hospice. The hospital also owns a busy, well-established primary care and same day appointment clinic that is located on hospital campus. Inpatient care is managed by 24/7 Hospitalist staff. KVH employs 300 staff and is one of the largest employers in the county.

We are now seeking a physician to join our exceptional ED team. Physicians work 24-hour shifts; the average census is 14 visits/day. The ER is staffed with one physician, one RN, and one ED Tech. LifeFlight's base is only 30 miles away, allowing for extremely fast air transfer response time. A comfortable sleep room near the ER is available for the physician on duty. Full-time benefits are offered at six 24-hour shifts per month. Benefits package includes M/D/V/Rx, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Retirement, Paid Time Off, CME, license and professional membership fees, and malpractice insurance. Competitive salary, signing bonus, temporary housing, and relocation assistance are available. Part-time positions are eligible to accrue Paid Time Off and participate in the retirement plan. Casual positions are not eligible for benefits.
