Klickitat Valley Health is a rural, critical-access hospital (trauma level 4) located in scenic Goldendale, Washington only two hours from Portland along the breathtaking Columbia River Gorge. KVH offers emergency and acute inpatient care and a full scope of ancillary services including General Surgery, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Wound Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Laboratory, PT / OT, Behavioral Health, Dental, Optometry, Retail Pharmacy and Hospice. The hospital also owns a busy, well-established primary care and same day appointment clinic that is located on hospital campus. Inpatient care is managed by 24/7 Hospitalist staff. KVH employs 300 staff and is one of the largest employers in the county.

We are now seeking a full-time physician to join our exceptional ED team. Physician shifts are a blend of 12-hour or 24-hour shifts; the average census is 16 visits/day. The ER is staffed with one provider, two RNs, and one ED Tech. LifeFlight's base is only 30 miles away, allowing for extremely fast air transfer response time. A comfortable sleep room near the ER is available for the physician on duty. Full-time benefits are offered at 144 hours per month. Benefits package includes M/D/V/Rx, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Retirement, Paid Time Off, CME, license and professional membership fees, and malpractice insurance.
