Duties
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing using systems such as Elations, LCP Tracker, etc., ensuring all employee data is accurate and up-to-date
- Perform data entry for payroll transactions, benefits administration, and employee records with precision and attention to detail
- Reconcile payroll accounts regularly through general ledger reconciliation and account analysis to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Prepare and review journal entries related to payroll, taxes, and benefits for compliance with accounting standards
- Collaborate to process new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and benefit enrollments
- Maintain compliance with tax regulations by preparing tax filings and managing related documentation
- Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed within the organization’s financial software environment such as QuickBooks
Requirements
- Strong understanding of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and general ledger accounting
- Excellent analysis skills for account reconciliation, data validation, and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially while maintaining high accuracy standards
