Car Wash Associate

Job Summary:

Responsible for providing customers with a satisfying experience, including fast and friendly service. Major responsibilities beyond customer satisfaction include completing register transactions, maintaining general appearance and location cleanliness in a fast paced environment while adhering to company policies. This is a growth position towards management.

Job Duties:

Advise customer of potential risks associated with car washes (i.e.: “Please remember to pull in mirrors…” etc.)
Assist customer with directing vehicle onto tunnel tracks.
Empty trash and vacuum barrels on a daily basis.
Machinery and equipment cleaning.
Use of materials such as water, cleaning agents, brushes, cloths, and hoses.
**Please note that while performing these duties you will come in contact with many commercial grade chemicals often found in and around car wash settings.**
Specific Responsibilities

Customer Satisfaction:

Friendly, outgoing attitude with customers.
Projects a respectful, professional manner at all times.
Seeks advice from the Facility Manager when limits of authority to resolve customer complaints are unclear.
Maintains a clean location as directed by management in their assigned duties.
Notifies management of low product and supplies.
Compliance:

Adheres to all company policy and procedures.
Notifies management of any policies that are unclear, or not being followed by other employees.
Location Operations:

Maintain store cleanliness standards.
Completes duties as assigned by management.
Maintains safe conditions and follows procedures in times of inclement weather, damage to the property, or unforeseen emergencies.
Reports to management any equipment or facility condition that is in need of repair or creates hazard.
Loss Prevention and Safety:

Strict compliance of cash handling procedures and shift accounting.
Adheres to safety procedures and loss prevention policies designed to maintain a safe environment for employees and customers.

Job Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, reach, and lift. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally life and/or move up to 50 pounds. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
