We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and other floor care techniques to ensure a polished appearance.
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of machinery or large spaces when required.
- Conduct routine custodial duties including trash removal, dusting, window washing, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting larger issues to the appropriate department.
- Use commercial cleaning tools and chemicals safely while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Support general upkeep of the facility by organizing supplies and ensuring cleaning equipment is properly maintained.
Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures.
- Strong background in floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices and basic repair skills.
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers or industrial vacuums efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on sanitation standards and safety protocols.
- Good organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
