Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Weekend Janitorial Day Porter to maintain cleanliness and orderliness across our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in custodial and commercial cleaning, with experience in floor care, industrial cleaning, and facilities maintenance. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment during weekend daytime hours. The successful applicant will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Must successfully pass a government Live Scan background check.

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 7am-3:30pm

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of common areas, restrooms, offices, and hallways using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
• Conduct floor care procedures including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained.
• Restock supplies such as paper products, hand sanitizers, and cleaning materials to ensure availability at all times.
• Maintain safety protocols during cleaning activities to prevent accidents or hazards within the facility.
• Assist with light custodial repairs or maintenance tasks as needed to support overall facility upkeep.
• Ensure all cleaning tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with facilities management to report any issues requiring further attention or repair.
• Uphold a professional appearance and attitude while working independently or as part of a team.

Skills

• Proven experience in janitorial services or custodial work within commercial or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care including buffing and polishing, and general facilities maintenance.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning procedures and residential painting is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good organizational skills for managing supplies and completing tasks efficiently.
