Full Time Local Propane & Service Truck Driver

Office location: 2510 Maple Street, Deckerville, MI 48427
(Behind Citgo station & across from Deckerville Post Office)
Delivery Area: Sanilac County, Southern Huron County & Northern St. Clair County
Work hours: Full time employment available: Normally Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Must be available to work some evenings and weekends during our busiest times (usually October and November & periods of extreme cold). Summer hours (Mid May - August) are minimum 30 per week & completely flexible.
Biweekly pay range & benefits: $25-$35/hour depending on benefits, experience, skill set, & work ethic. Paid time off, 401(k), health insurance
Requirements: Applicant needs class A or B CDL with hazmat, tanker, and air brakes endorsements (or be willing to get them). Applicant must be personable with strong communication skills, be mechanically minded, be able to read a map, be in reasonable physical condition, have basic math skills, have a great driving record, and be drug free.
Job responsibilities: Primary: Residential & agricultural delivery of propane and service truck work including: tank sets, line installation, leak checks, & safety inspections. Secondary: Cleaning & power washing your truck & miscellaneous warehouse duties.
