The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education. The salary range posted in the job advertisement refers to the base pay. Base pay is part of a total compensation package, which may also include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health and wellness, and benefits such as life insurance, medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents.

In This Role, You Will
- Build and drive business plans with partners to deliver mutual growth, define partnership objectives and KPIs, and monitor performance metrics (volume, conversion, approval rates, contribution margin).
- Identify new partnerships or business opportunities and lead them from concept to close to implementation. Conduct extensive market research to position Klarna optimally and influence Klarna’s global roadmap.
- Lead executive relationships at both partner and internal C-suite level, including delivering Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Build financial models and P&L scenarios to evaluate commercial decisions, size market opportunities, and build business cases for both external and internal investment and roadmap prioritization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, operations, legal, and compliance to ensure partnership launches meet Klarna's high standards.
- 7-10 years in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Consulting, or a related commercial role.
- Deep expertise in payments and digital commerce: fluent in payment rails, card networks, BNPL, and adjacent infrastructure.
- Proven track record closing complex enterprise agreements with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong financial acumen: you can build a P&L, size a market, and defend a business case with data.
- Skilled at managing executive relationships and operating credibly at the C-suite level.
- Highly cross-functional operator. You've worked closely with product, engineering, legal, and compliance to bring complex partnerships to life.
- Clear, compelling communicator - you are able to distill technical complexity for any audience.
- Self-directed, ownership-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Background in the payments industry.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications.
- Proficiency in multiple languages.
- Experience with international markets and cross-cultural communication.
