Rate of Pay: $20.57 per hour
Schedule: Follows the Board Approved Calendar

Function:
To assist the classroom teacher in math and reading interventions. To support literacy (reading and writing) and math interventions and instruction.
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the classroom teacher, Title I MTSS Lead and Title I Supervisor assist
students with instructional material; Under the direction of the classroom teacher, Title I MTSS Lead and Title I Supervisor, work with small groups of students to reinforce students’ classroom program;
Clerical and record keeping tasks necessary to support the Title I Program;
Assist with student supervision and duties as assigned;
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school diploma/equivalent;
Associates Degree or pass paraprofessional skills testing prior to employment;
Experience working with children;
Clerical skills (Typing, filing, computer knowledge preferred);
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

Computer skills including knowledge of Excel, SchoolMaster, Word and ability to learn new programs Fluent written and verbal skills in Spanish and English Proven organization skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before staff MATHEMATICAL SKILLLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fraction, and decimals Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructionsfurnished in written, oral, or diagram form Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITITES:
Knowledge of office practices and procedures; Office machine and basic computer application skills required; Ability to learn new computer application skills and apply them to the job; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with other employees, supervisors, students and the public; Ability to work on more than one project
at a time with interruptions; Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in
writing; Ability to perform duties with awareness of all district requirements and Board of
