Installer Helper – Commercial Flooring
The Installer Helper supports a Lead Installer on commercial job sites. This is a hands-on, labor-intensive role that requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and transport materials throughout job sites
- Perform demolition, floor preparation, scraping, cleanup, and patching (training provided)
- Stage materials and tools for installers
- Assist with layout, cutting, and installation as directed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
Requirements:
- Arrive on time and prepared to work
- Follow instructions carefully and work with a sense of urgency
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs on a regular basis
- Comfortable working on your feet or knees in an active job site environment for extended periods
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, or weekends as required
- Willingness to travel, as many projects are out of town
Experience:
- Previous construction or flooring experience is preferred but not required
- Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
