About the Role
D-3 Flooring Services Inc. is a growing, established flooring company specializing in new residential construction, multifamily, and commercial projects across Metro Atlanta and North Georgia.
We are seeking an experienced flooring professional to step into a Flooring Quality Control Lead role focused on workmanship, field quality, and installer support. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented flooring or tile installer who takes pride in quality work, communicates professionally, and is ready to leverage their field experience in a quality-focused role that builds productive working relationships with installers, builders, homeowners, and internal teams. The ideal candidate leads by example, remains solutions-focused under pressure, and helps ensure projects are completed the right way the first time.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pre-installation job walks to identify and document potential issues before installers arrive
- Conduct quality inspections during and after flooring installation to ensure projects meet company standards
- Complete final walkthroughs with builders, general contractors, homeowners, and clients
- Handle field and warranty concerns professionally and efficiently while maintaining positive client and installer relationships
- Maintain professional and effective communication with builders, homeowners, installers, and internal teams
- Quickly identify and address field issues while coaching and mentoring installers to maintain workmanship standards
- Maintain detailed records, notes, and documentation for each job
- Run occasional material deliveries or support runs as needed
Qualifications
· Flooring or tile installation experience strongly preferred
· Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of flooring installation methods, workmanship, and quality standards
· Professional communication skills and ability to build productive working relationships in the field
· Respected, team-oriented approach when working with installers, builders, and homeowners
· Strong sense of accountability, urgency, and follow-through
· Organized and dependable with the ability to work independently
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
