Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common areas by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing as needed.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff.
• Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to promote a healthy environment for guests and team members.
• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold property standards.
• Support the housekeeping management team in training new staff members and maintaining operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hospitality settings or similar environments.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and industrial cleaning equipment.
• Prior hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of custodial practices with an emphasis on sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
