Business Development Manager – Freight & Logistics Sales

Compensation: $70,000–$100,000 base uncapped commission
Are you a proven B2B freight sales professional ready to drive new business and grow key accounts? MX Logistics is hiring a Business Development Manager to build pipeline, close new freight transportation customers, and expand long-term relationships. You’ll be supported by an experienced operations team and have direct impact on your earnings.

What You’ll Do

Own the full sales cycle: prospect, pitch, close, and grow freight transportation accounts

Build and manage a consistent pipeline through outbound outreach and referrals

Conduct discovery to understand shipping needs and present tailored freight and logistics solutions

Meet or exceed revenue targets and track activity in CRM

Partner with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and strong customer experience

Meet locally and regionally with customers as needed (expenses reimbursed)
What We’re Looking For

3 years of B2B freight or logistics sales experience with a track record of closing and growing accounts

Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills

Understanding of transportation operations and customer decision drivers

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and CRM tools

Ability to meet with customers locally
