Supreme Dumpling is seeking Food Prep Workers for our Central Kitchen located in Renton, WA. Our Food Prep Workers prepare and arrange ingredients, assemble dishes, and assist the kitchen team in various food-related tasks. The job requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Washing, chopping, and preparing fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients according to recipes and specific instructions
- Measuring and weighing ingredients to ensure accurate portion sizes
- Operating kitchen equipment, such as mixers, blenders, and grinders
- Assembling dishes and ensuring that they are visually appealing
- Labeling and storing food items correctly
- Keeping the kitchen area clean and organized, including disposing of trash and washing dishes
- Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to learn quickly
- A positive attitude at all time
- Attention to detail
- Ability to stand and walk for minimum for 4 straight hours when needed.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to withstand the heat and the cold and exposure to cleaning chemicals, smoke, fumes and some airborne particles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to speak, read and write in English is a plus
Pay: $18 - $30 per hour
