Posted 2/18/26
The Genesis Foundation for Children (Foundation) ensures that its young patients living with rare and complex diseases achieve their full potential through the Feingold Model of Coordinated Care at Mass General Brigham for Children. This nearly 45-year-old organization funds and oversees compassionate, family-centered care that improves medical outcomes while easing the many emotional, financial, and logistical challenges parents and families face when trying to help their child.
The Foundation’s next leader will have a rare opportunity to build on this legacy organization’s track record of success while scaling up its impact to benefit thousands of additional families. The President/CEO will inherit a caring organization with profound human impact, a powerful institutional partnership, and deep community trust. By professionalizing strategy, expanding revenue streams, and leveraging its relationship with one of the nation’s top healthcare systems, this leader will help The Genesis Foundation for Children realize its enormous growth potential.
The Foundation is not transactional in its approach; it builds long-term, personal relationships that address not only medical needs but also emotional well-being, caregiving challenges, and everyday life. For the next President/CEO, this means leading a mission that resonates emotionally with families, donors, and partners, and delivers tangible impact rather than abstract programming.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President/CEO of The Foundation will provide strategic leadership and direction to promote the organization’s mission, achieve its core operational objectives, strengthen and diversify its revenue base, enhance its programmatic infrastructure, and scale its impact.
The Genesis Foundation for Children seeks a passionate, proactive, operationally savvy leader with high-level experience generating significant revenues, serving as a public-facing organizational ambassador, and partnering with nonprofit boards of directors to serve as its next President/CEO.
The salary range for this position is between $150,000 – $175,000 and will be commensurate with experience. The Foundation offers a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to, generous PTO along with all major holidays, health, dental, and life insurance, as well as a 401k retirement plan.
