JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: Intern
DEPARTMENT: Development
REPORTS TO: Sr. VP, Development
SUPERVISES: None
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible and accountable for support of the development staff by performing market studies and other general administrative functions/tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare internal market studies for apartments and self storage.
- Conduct preliminary due diligence as requested.
- Conduct various research projects related to apartment and self storage developments.
- General administrative duties.
- Data entry into financial models.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Actively pursuing a bachelors degree (B.A./B.S.) with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Basic understanding of Financial Statements
- No prior experience necessary
- Computer Skills Experience with MS Office
- 0-10% Travel

- Rarely must stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl or bend.
- Rarely must lift 25 50 pounds.
