Application Requirements & Essential Functions for Distribution Facility Associate for Vendor/Defective Returns:
- Evaluate, process and prepare merchandise for return to manufactures due to defects, recalls, shipment damage, overages or incorrect items
- Must be reliable in performance and attitude
- Must show sound product awareness, communication skills, computer/system knowledge and teamwork
- Correct use of telephone, computer and all company equipment associated with the job
- Ability to communicate clearly with peers and supervisors using phone, email, and in person
- Demonstrate initiative and drive in the performance of duties, demonstrating a willingness to follow direction with a positive attitude
- Demonstrate professional vendor/customer relations and communication
- Reinforcement of established Loss Prevention policies and procedures
- Reinforcement of all policies and procedures of the Company
- Safe performance of duties, demonstrating care for self, co-workers, customers and property
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment.
- Willingness to communicate desires, ideas and problems to supervisors
- Assist e-com shipping as needed during busy periods
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Warehouse experience is preferred but not required
- Must be 18 years of age or older and pass a standard background check
General Summary:
Responsible for evaluation and processing merchandise to be returned to the manufacturer due to defective quality, recall, over shipment of product, substituted or incorrect merchandise and product damaged in shipment. This position requires long periods of standing as well as movement throughout the facility. Physically working with merchandise requires lifting, climbing ladders and pushing/ pulling rolling buckets, tubs and oak carts. .
Qualified candidates must be able to work Sunday/Monday/Tuesday, Or Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7am-2:30pm or 8am- 3:30pm

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
