About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the physical integrity and day-to-day upkeep of the Kith Ivy club. This role is responsible for coordinating all maintenance activities, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring every area of the property operates safely and at the highest functional and aesthetic standard.

What You Will Do:

Maintenance Operations

• Manage and prioritize the daily maintenance request queue, ensuring timely resolution of all issues
• Conduct daily walkthroughs of all club areas to proactively identify and address facility issues before they impact the member experience
• Oversee and perform general maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and equipment repair
• Ensure all life safety systems including fire suppression, emergency lighting, and egress pathways are operational and compliant
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, work order records, and preventive maintenance schedules

Vendor & Contractor Management

• Coordinate and supervise external vendors, service contractors, and specialists
• Obtain and evaluate quotes for repair and renovation work, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality
• Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong working relationships with preferred service providers
• Ensure all contractor work is completed to standard, on time, and with minimal disruption to club operations

Team Oversight

• Supervise any in-house maintenance technicians or facilities support staff
• Provide guidance, task delegation, and performance feedback to the maintenance team
• Maintain a culture of urgency, professionalism, and pride in the physical product
• Support on-call coverage for after-hours or emergency maintenance situations

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure full compliance with NYC building codes, fire safety regulations, and OSHA standards
• Maintain all required permits, licenses, and inspection certifications
• Coordinate with the Housekeeping and Operations teams on safety and facilities protocols
• Respond immediately to any emergency maintenance situations

Who You Are:

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of facilities or maintenance experience in a luxury hotel, private club, or high-end commercial property
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. Spa maintenance experience is preferred.
• Strong vendor management skills and experience overseeing contractor work
• Working knowledge of NYC building codes, life safety systems, and OSHA regulations
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through on open work orders
• Valid drivers license and ability to respond to on-call situations when required
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation

$35.00 – $45.00 per hour.
