Job Summary:
Working from our Corporate Office in Indianapolis, IN. We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Intern to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program. KRG is a fast-paced environment and provides hands-on experience to develop skills needed to succeed in the REIT industry and the specific function relating to the internship. Interns will assist with a wide range of duties and will have the opportunity to interface with various business departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Our Construction team works closely with Development and Leasing to create designs and estimates for construction, development, and redevelopment projects. They oversee these projects to ensure budget, design, and timeline are followed. The Intern duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Excel use for tasks in estimating.
- Administrative tasks such as pay applications, change orders, meeting minutes.
- Tenant construction coordination
- Field reports
- Research tasks such as examining previous construction projects and conducting preconstruction field research.
- Internal reporting
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Majors – construction management, civil engineering, architectural, project management
- Knowledge in construction and design
- Experience in Microsoft project, Excel, and Bluebeam
