Kitchen Saver is looking for an experienced Installation Trainer with a strong background in kitchen remodeling, cabinet refacing, carpentry, and finish work. This is an ideal opportunity for an accomplished installer, lead installer, or construction professional who enjoys sharing their knowledge, coaching others, and helping people succeed.

As our Installation Trainer, you’ll combine your hands-on field experience with your ability to teach and develop others. You’ll train new and existing Installers, Lead Installers, and Service Technicians on Kitchen Saver installation techniques, safety requirements, quality standards, and customer service expectations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead hands-on initial and refresher training for Installers, Lead Installers, Service Technicians, and installation technicians.
• Teach proper Kitchen Saver installation procedures, techniques, quality standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate onboarding and installation training for new hires.
• Develop and administer written, practical, and hands-on assessments to evaluate trainee knowledge and field readiness.
• Create and maintain training manuals, job aids, standard operating procedures, and other instructional materials.
• Assist with the development of training videos and other learning resources.
• Plan training classes, including schedules, agendas, materials, tools, equipment, and facility requirements.
• Coach installers on quality, efficiency, problem-solving, and delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Conduct field visits to observe installations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for additional training.
• Monitor the performance of recent training graduates and use field observations to continuously improve the training program.
• Partner with installation managers to evaluate employees for advancement, certification, and additional development.
• Stay current on products, tools, installation techniques, safety requirements, and company procedures.
• Maintain the tools, materials, equipment, and inventory needed to support installation training.
• Support special projects and installation operations when not conducting scheduled training.
• Promote and enforce company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who has done the work and knows how to teach it.

The successful candidate will have:

• Extensive hands-on experience in kitchen remodeling, cabinet refacing, carpentry, finish work, or related construction trades.
• Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, installation techniques, and troubleshooting.
• The ability to clearly demonstrate and teach technical installation skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify practical solutions in the field.
• A highly organized, methodical, and detail-oriented approach.
• Prior experience as a trainer, coach, Lead Installer, or supervisor is preferred.
• Trade or technical school education, related training and experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Physical Requirements

Because this is a hands-on training position, candidates must be comfortable working in realistic installation and construction environments. The role requires repetitive bending, twisting, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and other physical installation activities, as well as the ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

This isn't a desk-only training position. You'll work in a combination of training facilities, construction and installation environments, and office settings, providing both classroom-style and hands-on instruction.
