Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their visit
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and light food items following quality standards
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food preparation and food handling procedures
- Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy periods while maintaining accuracy in orders
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring the café remains organized and inviting
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in food service with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and proper serving techniques
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks
