We are seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to join our team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively to meet project goals.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (overtime as needed)
Key Responsibilities:
· Create Drawings: Prepare detailed drawings and documentation for use in manufacturing, including plan views, elevations, and technical details. Clearly specify materials and procedures.
· Standards Compliance: Apply industry and company standards to ensure accurate and consistent documentation for products, equipment, and capital improvements.
· CADD Systems: Utilize company-provided Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) systems to produce precise drawings.
· Drafting Techniques: Apply traditional drafting methods to effectively communicate design intent and technical concepts.
Qualifications:
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Strong math, computer, and analytical skills
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints
· Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure (assessment will be conducted during the interview)
· Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Positive attitude and strong communication skills
· Associate degree in a technical field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience
Additional Requirements
· Must be local to or able to commute to Lockport, NY
