We are seeking a Workers’ Compensation Case Manager to support our Workers’ Compensation practice from intake through resolution. This role is open to candidates ranging from entry level to senior level, depending on experience. Whether you are newer to workers’ compensation or bring years of experience, we are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and client-focused.
As a Workers’ Compensation Case Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring cases move forward efficiently while keeping clients informed and supported throughout the process. You will work closely with attorneys, medical providers, insurance carriers, and the Workers’ Compensation Commission to manage files and advocate for our clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for workers’ compensation clients
- Communicating regularly with clients, attorneys, medical providers, insurers, and the Workers’ Compensation Commission
- Explaining the workers’ compensation process and setting realistic expectations for clients
- Opening, maintaining, and updating case files with accurate documentation
- Requesting and organizing medical records, wage statements, and employment information
- Coordinating medical treatment and following up on authorizations
- Monitoring benefit payments, including temporary total disability (TTD)
- Tracking deadlines, hearings, and appointments
- Preparing and filing routine Workers’ Compensation Commission forms and correspondence
- Assisting attorneys with discovery, hearings, and settlement preparation
- Maintaining detailed case notes in the firm’s case management system
- Collaborating with the intake, legal, and operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience
Qualifications:
- Entry-level candidates should have strong organizational and communication skills and a willingness to learn
- Mid-level candidates should have 1–3 years of workers’ compensation or related legal experience
- Senior-level candidates should have 4 years of workers’ compensation case management experience and the ability to manage cases independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
- Experience with case management software and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace preferred
