About the Company
Kismet client, Gilbert's Risk Solutions, has an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual that is ready to learn and develop professionally for the position of Employee Benefits Account Manager in their Group Benefits department. The focus of this position is working with and through others, building and maintaining relationships, and working closely and accurately within established guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business of fully insured clients, locally and out of state
- Act as primary contact between clients and insurance carriers and administer renewals in a timely manner
- Attend client meetings when appropriate; overnight travel may be required
- Educate, advise and aid clients on compliance topics including but not limited to COBRA, FMLA, Health Care Reform and ERISA
- Provide resolution support and oversight of employee issues such as enrollment and billing issues
Qualifications
- Entry-level, with a minimum of internship experience in Employee Benefits
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Insurance & Risk Management, or related field
- Life & Health Insurance License preferred
Required Skills
- Excellent rapport building and outstanding customer service
- Cooperative team player, adaptable to new or changing environment
- Strong ability to problem solve, meet deadlines, communicate, negotiate and work under pressure
- PC Skills (e.g., Microsoft Word & Excel)
- Valid Driver's License
