Job Summary
The Arts/Communications/Social Sciences Division is accepting applications for a part-time instructor in Criminal Justice.
Adjunct applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Submission of an application places candidates in an applicant pool for consideration as instructional needs arise. Positions are offered based on course availability, enrollment, and departmental needs. Applicants will be contacted only if an instructional assignment becomes available and their qualifications align with the course requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Commitment to fostering an engaging learning environment for a diverse student body.
- Flexibility for teaching courses offered day, evening, and online.
- Instructional expertise to deliver instruction for 21st century learners and assess student learning outcomes as appropriate to ensure academic quality.

- Willingness to participate in activities or on college committees that contribute to the success of students.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminal Law, or Law Enforcement or Master’s degree in a related field with 18 graduate credit hours in these subject areas
- Professional experience working in law enforcement or the criminal justice system
