What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Classroom Teacher position at Kirksville Child Development Center?
Energetic, nurturing individuals interested in working with children ages 2-6 in a play based preschool setting. Teachers support children and their safety, connection and learning throughout the day. These include but are not limited to: caring for students’ emotional, social and physical needs; facilitating activities and play in alignment with the KCDC play philosophy; learning how to implement Conscious Discipline; following routines; and cleaning/organizing according to our daily schedule. Up to 40 hours available weekly. Compensation based on education and experience. Medical form, TB Risk Assessment Form, and full Background check required as per licensing requirements.
