ACCOUNT PAYABLE

Kirkpatrick Management Company (KMC) is seeking an Indianapolis-based professional with experience and passion for service. The purpose of this position is to ensure KMC clients are served professionally, compassionately, and intelligently.

About the Role:

Joining a small team of AP Specialists, you'll assist our managers, clients, vendors and fellow employees with their varied accounting requests.

Job Functions

· Provide superior customer service

· Post vendor invoices and print checks

· Organize utility invoices and prepare for processing, set up utilities for ACH payments

· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Answer phone calls and reconcile vendor Accounts Payable

Update client records including account notes, contact information and correspondence

Qualifications

· Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable experience preferred

· Knowledge in Property Management (Multifamily & Cooperatives) is not a requirement but a plus

· Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, and Word

· Previous experience with Real Page Accounting is a plus but not required.

· This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills that portray a professional company image through direct interaction with homeowners, residents, vendors, and customers.

· Individuals in this position must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, have strong attention to detail, and have a solid work ethic.

· All candidates must pass a complete background check, including criminal and residential history.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
