We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the culinary arts, particularly in pizza preparation, and will thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for crafting delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and presentation, ensuring customer satisfaction with every order. Guaranteed Sunday and Monday off and you will make tips.

Duties

• Prepare and cook pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, and slicers safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Assist in food preparation for other menu items as needed, contributing to overall meal preparation.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking.
• Uphold quality control standards by inspecting finished products before serving.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a cooking role within the food industry, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
• Proficient knife skills and ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure during busy shifts.
• A passion for culinary arts with a focus on pizza making is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
