Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and energetic cook to join our team at our pizza and sandwich shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas, sandwiches, and other menu items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring consistency, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. Guaranteed Sunday and Monday off and you will make tips.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook pizzas, hot and cold sandwiches, and other menu items according to recipes and customer specifications.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers safely and efficiently.
• Monitor food quality and freshness; maintain consistent portion sizes and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation; report shortages or equipment issues.
• Work as part of a team to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations.
• Follow all food safety procedures and kitchen protocols.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including prep work and cleaning.

Qualifications:

• Prior cooking or food prep experience preferred, especially in a pizzeria, deli, or fast-casual restaurant.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Work Schedule:

• Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
