Mechanic Needed in Lafayette
Kirby Risk Mechanical Solutions and Service has an excellent opportunity for a Mechanic in Lafayette, IN.
What will I do as a Mechanic?
- Test, troubleshoot, disassemble, provide failure analysis, and re-assemble electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, and other mechanical apparatus.
- Provide on-the-job training in specific motor repair techniques.

- High School Diploma, GED, Trade School coursework, or equivalent work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
- A solid desire to continually learn
- Experience with mechanical and/or electrical repair is a plus
What are some of the Physical Requirements?
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Stand
- Use of Hand Tools
What is the schedule?
- 7a – 4p Monday thru Friday with On Call Rotation Mandatory
