About the Role
Kirby & Holloway is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Inside Sales Assistant at our front desk to support the sales department with order intake, customer service, and daily coordination between customers, production, and office operations.
This position focuses on processing incoming orders, managing customer communication, and assisting the Inside Sales Coordinator with reports and account support.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and process customer orders
- Maintain social media inquiries
- Enter orders accurately in Food Connex (training provided)
- Generate and print pick tickets, invoices, and daily paperwork
- Assist the Inside Sales Coordinator with reports, account updates, and customer requests
- Communicate order details clearly to production and fulfillment teams
- Support walk-in customers and handle payments
- Maintain organized records and ensure order accuracy
Qualifications
- Experience in inside sales, customer service, or administrative support preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Professional communication skills
- Food Connex experience is a plus but not required
