Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian to join our facilities maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our commercial, residential, and industrial spaces. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers
• Handle chemical agents safely and according to established protocols to ensure effective cleaning while maintaining safety standards
• Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of supplies, furniture, or equipment following safe lifting practices
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to uphold facility appearance standards
• Assist with general facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring specialized attention
• Operate commercial cleaning equipment efficiently and safely to enhance floor care and buffing processes
• Support industrial cleaning projects or specialized custodial tasks as needed to meet operational demands

Qualifications

• Proven custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures
• Knowledge of janitorial techniques including chemical agent handling and proper disposal methods
• Experience operating floor buffers, scrubbers, or other custodial machinery preferred
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to ergonomic practices
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus
• Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
