Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food and beverage orders are accurately taken and served, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Experience in fine dining or food service environments is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to ensure sanitation standards are met
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
• Address guest inquiries professionally, resolving issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
• Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation guidelines during food handling and service

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms like OpenTable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest complaints effectively
• Excellent time management skills to manage multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/host duties is advantageous
• Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and positive guest relations
