Senior Systems Developer (EDI/API Integrations)

We are seeking a Senior Developer to develop and maintain high-quality B2Bi/EDI integration services. You will play a key role in the entire software development lifecycle, from design, development, testing, implementation, support and maintenance of B2Bi Integrations for enterprise customers, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange between internal systems and external trading partners.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend services using Axway B2Bi, Axway Gateway Interchange, Mapping services, Sentinel and Linux
• Possess good understanding of various file formats like (ANSI-X12 / EDIFACT / XML / CSV / JSON / SOAP XML) and experience integrations development related to logistics industry and possess good understanding of Logistics and SCM operations to conduct and manage project development
• Participate in discussions with stakeholders to understand user requirements and conduct comprehensive requirements analysis.
• Design, integrate and implement business logic following secure coding principles to avoid security vulnerabilities.
• Assist in solution design, development, and configuration while carrying out static analysis tasks to evaluate design quality.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability by following organizational best practices.
• Assist with the development of test plans and test cases, identifying stakeholders for testing and analyzing execution results.
• Write clean, testable code and support script maintenance to accommodate changes in requirements or implementation.
• Obtain and consolidate regular feedback from users to support continuous improvement efforts, such as EDI/API integrations.
• Prepare technical documentation, including interface descriptions and functional/non-functional details.
• Document processes and test results surrounding software architecture, application design, and component integration.
• Support in training team members on the use of applications and new enhancement features.
• Generate reports for stakeholders and participate in internal or external compliance audits as required.
• Follows company’s IT standards, code of conduct, policies, development standards, support procedures and guidelines.

• Configure and support integrations on Linux environments, including log analysis.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of EDI working experience in Axway B2Bi in design and development to Onboard and Support activities in B2Bi integrations.
• Proven track record in managing complex IT projects with business users and internal IT team working together collectively to deliver results.
• Expertise in Axway B2Bi data flow mapping & sentinel services. Experience on Linux commands, execution and troubleshooting. Expertise in understanding various file formats.
• Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
