Key Responsibilities:
- Direct all lifecycle engineering projects for existing UPS and Battery products; from planning and design to testing, commissioning, and in-service support.
- Manage and mentor Critical Power Solutions Division (CPSD) Engineering staff, providing training, cross-training, and professional development opportunities. Conduct performance reviews and contribute to salary planning.
- Oversee enhancement programs for UPS and Battery solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Maintain and improve configuration management and data retention policies to enhance engineering efficiency.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Service teams to resolve customer and vendor issues, escalating to division leadership when necessary.
- Participate in risk reviews, bid schedule evaluations, and solution scoping for customer specifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years working with power and energy systems, (ideally UPS solutions, battery, and power quality design) with at least 3 years in a management role; or equivalent education and experience.
- Advanced knowledge of power systems, power electronics, and protection circuitry.
- Strong experience in power lab environment including testing, instrumentation, and report creation.
