Position Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Controller to join our dynamic team at Legacy Four Management Solutions. This position will be key in managing all aspects of financial reporting, general ledger management, prepare financial information for tax preparer, and bank account management for our multi-entity organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with Sage Intacct, UKG Payroll, and Sage FAS, along with a deep understanding of accounting principles in a multi-entity, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- General Ledger Management & Multi-Entity Accounting:

- Oversee the general ledger for multiple entities, ensuring proper classification and reconciliation of transactions across entities.
- Manage intercompany transactions and eliminations for accurate consolidated financial statements.
- Ensure all journal entries and general ledger activity are properly recorded and reconciled in a timely manner.
- Month-End & Year-End Close:

- Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring that all financial data is accurately recorded, reconciled, and reported within tight deadlines.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and statistical and analytical summaries.
- Corporate Tax Preparation:

- Gather and QC the necessary financial information to be provided to CPA in timely manner.
- Review prepared financial tax returns against financial information to ensure accuracy prior to submission.
- Work closely with CPA to address any tax-related issues.
- Bank Account & Cash Management:

- Manage all company bank accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and tracking of cash balances.
- Monitor cash flow, identifying trends, and providing recommendations to optimize liquidity.
- Assist with the reconciliation of the Bank account on a daily and monthly basis.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:

- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for operations and the executive leadership team.
- Provide insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Fixed Assets Management:

- Utilize Sage FAS for fixed asset management and ensure proper recording and tracking of company assets.
- Compliance & Internal Controls:

- Ensure compliance with GAAP, corporate policies, and all relevant regulations.
- Develop and maintain internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Potential Management of Accounting Team

- Manage a small team, usually 2 persons who perform the Accounting, Tax Prep Reporting and Payroll tasks for the organization.
- Set oversee daily task completion, set goals, perform reviews.
Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Intacct preferred) and MS Excel.
- Experience with tax preparation software is a plus.
- Familiarity with corporate tax laws and regulations.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.

Compensation: Junior Controller 80k – 110k depending on experience and responsibilities.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with experience in a leadership role a plus (Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar).
- Strong experience with Sage Intacct, UKG Payroll, and Sage FAS is a plus.
- Experience with multi-entity accounting.
- Hands-on experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
