This role will support the PR Team's leadership in a variety of tasks tied to daily account management and internal resource management.
Select Job Responsibilities
Directly oversee team of publicists. Teach, mentor, and train team members who are performing at various levels of responsibility and ability.
Maintain review and accountability of the team’s KPIs, including performance management and training.
Create comprehensive and thoughtful public relations strategies for partners to maximize exposure
Conduct proactive media outreach via print, online, broadcast, radio media
Draft story, messaging, and talking points
Identify, maintain, and curate database of top-tier local, regional, and national media contacts
Conceptualize and execute public relations events, including briefings, events, functions, stays, drops, media familiarization trips and itineraries
Execute media training, where necessary
Oversee creation of press kit and multimedia library
Coordinate media shoots and segments
Monitor, measure, and report media successes
Conduct outreach to key groups and audiences (e.g. concierge, residential) to achieve partner goals.
Collaborate with team members in other disciplines for strong coordination of integrated marketing campaigns
Serve partners impeccably and look for opportunities to connect and maintain their brand
Promote learning, influence choices, and foster connections for media relations team
Monetize the discipline on behalf of a business’ bottom line, wherever possible
