The Company Manager will be a key member of our team, responsible for supporting the Agency Principal, shaping the employee experience, building a strong organizational culture, growing partner relationships, and leading HR administration. This person will play a critical role in ensuring that our team feels supported, engaged, and aligned with our mission while also driving programs and policies that support growth. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, executional excellence, and people leadership. Key Responsibilities
Executive
- Be a resource for Agency Principal, helping to anticipate and address day-to-day questions. Provide clear recommendations.
- Serve as a proxy for the Principal in select meetings and communications.
- Ensure the Principal’s time is optimized by managing priorities and escalating key issues.
- Manage Principal’s calendars, virtual meetings, and workflow organization.
- Support the Principal with special projects, including internal reports and presentations.
Culture
- Serve as a culture champion, creating initiatives that foster engagement, collaboration, and connection across the remote team.
- Plan and coordinate virtual and in-person team-building events, retreats, and recognition programs.
- Manage internal communications and ensure leadership updates are shared clearly and consistently.
- Develop a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
- Lead initiatives that foster belonging, collaboration, and recognition in a remote-first environment.
- Design and implement culture-building programs, team events, and professional development opportunities.

- Support the administration of performance management, career progression, and feedback cycles.

- Help with other large-scale projects in HR
- Assist with financial tracking, including invoice processing, expense reporting, and budget monitoring.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and external partners for billing and operational needs.
- Develop policies, handbooks, and processes that reflect best practices and company values.
- Monitor, train on, and cross-check payroll, benefits administration, and HR compliance in partnership with external vendors.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations across remote and local operations.

Qualifications

- 5-7 years of experience in operations, strategy, or Chief of Staff–type roles.
- Comfortable working in a creative, entrepreneurial setting; agency or startup experience preferred.
- Proven track record in developing people programs, policies, and culture strategies that drive engagement.
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Background in planning, project management, progressive HR, people operations, or culture leadership experience.
- Strong emotional intelligence, bias to action, and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence all levels.
- Highly organized and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong financial and business acumen, with experience in analyzing performance metrics.
- Proven track record of bringing clarity to complex initiatives and driving execution.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for people-first leadership.
